Course Description

The swim takes place in the indoor pool at the new Sportsplex. Lifeguards will be on deck at all times. Athletes will swim 2 per lane. There will be a maximum of 16 athletes per wave. One parent or guardian must accompany participants in the 3-5 age group in the water and on foot for the bike and run. All athletes may wear a life jacket. Life jackets will be supplied. Waterwings, flutter boards or flippers are not permitted. It is expected that athletes 6 years of age and older will not require assistance from a parent but special arrangements can be made. There will be plenty of volunteers on hand to assist at any point during the race. Contact us with special requests or for specific details on the swim.

The bike course is a loop (with older age groups doing multiple loops) on neighbouring residential roads with the bike course closed to traffic. Volunteers and local police will provide traffic control.

The run course will take place on an asphalt trail and the track adjacent the Sportsplex. This will be great for family and friends to cheer on the athletes as they do their laps and run to the finish. There will be one water station on the run course.
