Entry Fees

Entry fee is $4.00 per event if received via mail or postmarked on or by Tuesday, May 12, 2009 per the entry fee policy set by the Nebraska Association. Also $4.00 per event for all Team Manager entries received by Wednesday, May 13, 2009. $8.00 per event if received online or mail from Wednesday, May 13 through Saturday, May 16, 2009. Any events entered on the day of the meet will be $12.00 each. Event changes on the day of the meet will be an additional $12.00 per event.

Late entries will be taken at the gate just north of the west parking lot that leads to the throws venues from 7:45-8:45 a.m. Clubs may send entries in one mailing with one check for the entire club. An individual entry form must be filled out for each competitor, but teams may use the attached “paper” club entry form. Don’t forget to bring your USATF card, and all entry fees must be paid before competitors will be allowed to throw.

NO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 8:45 AM THE DAY OF THE MEET. REGISTRATION BY MAY 19 IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. You may park in either the east or west parking lots at Burke. The stadium will be closed, but portable toilets will be available to use around the throwing venues. No concessions will be sold, so bring plenty of liquids and something for lunch. No admission will be charged.

Trash cans will be placed around the venues, please make sure you use them throughout the day. We need to leave Burke as clean as we found it.

Order of events

First event will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.; warm-ups for the next age group will begin as soon as the previous group has completed its event. There will be a 10-minute warm-up period for each age group, so be prepared and get to your next venue as soon as you’ve completed another event.

The shot put will be conducted at the east ring near the tennis courts next to the school. The discus and javelin events will be conducted on the soccer field just west of the Burke softball field. If you’ve pre-registered, please report to your first event, there’s no need to check in at the registration table by the softball field.
