Central Kitsap High School senior Shane Moskowitz ran 4:12 on Saturday to win his heat in the mile. The two-time Foot Locker National qualifier running in a field of collegiate athletes ran a fine time for this early in the season. The race was held at the University of Washington's Preview Meet in its Dempsey indoor facility. The current Washington XC champion used the race as a tune-up for the upcoming UASTF junior cross country championships to be held in Spokane on Feb. 13. His time would tie him for second on the list of current Milrose Meet invitees for East Coast runners.
