The Narrows League meet not only offered fans a chance to watch runners take the first steps of the season's end towards State, but it also offered a chance to some watch fine runners. Full story tomorrow but Shane Moskowitz of Central Kitsap & Connor Peloquin are probably the two best in their state. Both came into the contest undefeated and essentially unchallenged all year, so their meeting cause much anticipation. The did not disappoint either in spite of tough weather conditions. Connor pushed early but Shane had some reserve & he pulled away to win in a course-record time of 15:05 at Fort Steilacoom Park. His time is one of the top times in the nation. Suffice it to say it was more than worth the three hour trip back! Nte Brennand of Olympia placed third ahead of Brent Felnagle. Gig Harbor, Bellarmine & Central Kitsap placed 1 - 2 - 3 in the team race followed by Olympia.
