PUT IT THERE—Kushaal Tadepalli of Calabasas, center, commands the pedestal at the National Junior Olympic games in North Carolina last month. As a member of the Calabasas Cheetahs Track Club, the 10-year-old set new team records for shot put on four occasions. His performance as a member of the Valley United Striders improved with every competition, culminating in his gold medal performance in bantam shot put at the Junior Olympics.
