Laderer Family run Trail Run Relay

Greater Long Island Running Club/Runner's Edge Trail Relay was held on February 21st. The team that finished 13th in the Men's Open Division ("The Family") consisted of dad Bill Laderer, his 12 year old son Travis and his 8 year old son Christian.

Now this is not an easy course, each of the three runners on the team navigates a two mile stretch of uneven terrain on the trails of Bethpage State Park, so the total time of 48 minutes, 34 seconds for the Laderer family team (that's an average pace of just over 8 minute miles on a trail course for a team that includes an 8 year old) is quite impressive.
