INTERNATIONAL SIMUTANEOUS MARATHON
All youth officials, coaches, and coordinators interested in entering a group of 11 year old boys and girls in the annual International Simultaneous Marathon on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 should contact Jo Burrows or Richard Messenger of the West Virginia Association. This is a marathon distance relay conducted on a 400 meter track by 16 boys and 16 girls aged eleven. The participants will be competing against teams in London and Manchester, UK; Toronto, Canada; Lisbon and Madrid, Spain ; and a few other countries that will be involved as soon as their programs are finalized.
