More than 11,000 runners competed in various races this weekend at the Disney Princess Half Marathon. This was the inaugural event that is part of a three-day celebration of women's health and fitness. In the Half over a hundred high school girls in the 14-17 age group ran.

The first girl through the finish line was 16 year old Natalie DiGregorio from Bear, Del. in a time of 1:36:00.

Laura Rybka age 15 from Peninsula, Ohio, crossed the line in 1:41:47 to finish second in the 14-17 age group at Disney's Princess Half Marathon.
