Michael Bergmann

About

Michael Bergmann is currently the Director of Track and Field at Central Catholic High School in Portland Oregon. He founded and has led the CYO Track Club for over 10 years and has overseen the CYO Track and Field program that serves nearly 2000 athletes in the Portland Oregon area.

Achievements

Bergmann along with Tom Rothenberger started the PDXC Youth Running Series, a middle school cross country series that is free of charge for all middle school athletes in Oregon. His passion for creating great experiences in track and field as well as cross country has been driving force behind his success. Bergmann was helped coach 2 different High School teams to Nike Team Nationals Appearances. Central Catholic in 2005 and St Mary's Academy in 2007. He is finishing up the construction of a high quality track and field complex at a local high school in Portland Oregon. Bergmann has worked in Product Development at Nike for over 25 years and is currently leading the sustainability efforts for Nike, Inc.'s footwear business.
